Philosophy of the Program

This program provides an education to meet the special needs of deaf people and to be in harmony with their life style. It is based on the ideas of developing learners to be complete human beings, considering all aspects of body, spirit and intellect. This program allows students to understand their inner self, to cultivate teachers' spirit and to develop self-learning skills, in addition, the program provides inclusive learning environment, allowing deaf and hearing students to understand the differences between the cultures of the Deaf and the hearing. .

Admission Requirements :

1. Hearing student (Deaf Studies and Thai Sign Language majors only) : Qualifications:

  • 1.1 a hearing person who can speak and listen to Thai language fluently
  • 1.2 a high-school graduate or equivalent

2. Hearing impaired student : Qualifications:

  • 2.1 deaf or hard of hearing
  • 2.2 a high-school graduate or equivalent
  • 2.3 has a good Thai Sign Language skill

The applicant who has the qualifications apart from the ones listed above will be under the consideration of the admission committee.
