Ratchasuda College, Mahidol University, held the 6th Ratchasuda 2019 International Conference on Disability under the theme "Creating a World of Opportunities for All" from May 15th – 17th, 2019 at Ratchasuda College, Mahidol University and Salaya Pavilion, Nakhon Pathom, Thailand.

This conference included a pre-conference research workshop on the topic "Contemporary Research Methodologies in Researching Disability for Enhanced Impact" by Assoc. Prof. Joseph Seyram Agbenyega from Monash University, Australia. On the first day of the conference, May 16, 2019, Dr. Wachara Riewpaiboon, Dean of Ratchasuda College gave the welcome speech and Assoc. Prof. Sarayut Supapannachart, M.D., gave the opening address to hundred participants. This was followed by a keynote on the topic, "Creating Opportunity for All in the Disrupted World" by Dr. John Ross Rizzo from New York University, USA. Panel Discussion followed the keynote on "A Tool to Create a World of Opportunities for All" by Prof. Phyllis Jones, Ph.D., from University of South Florida, USA, Mr. Monthian Buntan, a senator in the Royal Thai parliament and special rapporteur for the UN on disability, and Assoc. Professor Agbenyega from Monash University, Australia. The panel session was moderated by Dr. Nuttaneeya Torugsa, a lecturer from Ratchasuda College.

The afternoon session included concurrent presentations. A total of 15 presentations (11 papers and 4 posters) were presented in the Conference from various countries including Japan, Bhutan, Bangladesh and Thailand. The last day of the conference involved academic tour of Mahidol University campus and cultural sightseeing in the communities around the campus. All the local and foreign participants and the keynote speakers expressed satisfaction regarding the orderly manner in which the conference was organized. They indicated that the academic knowledge and the Thai culture experiences are valuable for this conference attendance.
