The Study of the Thai Language Caption for the Deaf of the Educational film.

Abstract
This research is to study a type of the Thai language caption which affects the deaf's perception of the Educational Film and to produce the Educational Film with Thai language caption for the deaf student. The quasi experiment is applied by using group post - test only designs method. This sample is divided into two groups. The controlled group, 15 students, is designed to watch the movie with ordinary caption. The experimental group, 15 students, is designed to watch the movie with Thai language caption. The data was collected from the deaf students by 30 vocational deaf students and 30 higher deaf students. The result is collected immediately after watching of the movie. Means of percentage, frequency, Independent Sample T - test is used to analysis the data.
Both vocational deaf students and higher deaf students have within - group different perception of the movie with ordinary caption and Thai language caption prototype. Both vocational students and higher students have better within - group perception of the movie with Thai language caption prototype than the movie with ordinary caption. Vocational deaf students and higher deaf students have different perception of the movie with ordinary caption and prototype caption : the vocational deaf students have no different perception of the movie with ordinary caption from the prototype's one and the higher deaf students have perception of the movie with Thai language caption prototype better than the ordinary's one. The higher deaf students have better perception of the movie with ordinary caption than the vocational deaf students' one. The higher deaf students have better perception of the movie with Thai language caption prototype than the vocational deaf students' one. In conclusion, the deaf students have better perception when the movie use editing caption. Hereby, according to the study, the movie with Thai language caption prototype is suitable most for the deaf.
